Two extraordinary musicians. One stage. And the kind of chemistry you can’t manufacture.

Amy LaVere and Will Sexton bring their captivating blend of Americana, blues, folk and rock & roll to The Saxon Pub for an intimate night built around exceptional songwriting and musicianship. LaVere pairs her instantly recognizable voice and sharp, clever lyrics with the rhythmic pulse of her upright bass, while Sexton brings decades of experience as an acclaimed guitarist, songwriter, producer and session player. Sexton came of age in Austin’s legendary music scene, playing alongside artists including Doug Sahm, Joe Ely and Roky Erickson before building a career that has stretched far beyond Texas. Together, Amy and Will have spent more than a decade touring and making music side by side, creating a sound filled with soulful harmonies, understated virtuosity and the easy musical conversation that comes from years of playing together. This is exactly the kind of show The Saxon was made for—great songs, world-class players and a room close enough to catch every note.
