Arnold Lane Presents a Lunar Eclipse performance of The Dark Side of the Moon
Arnold Lane Presents a Lunar Eclipse performance of The Dark Side of the Moon.
Pink Floyd’s landmark album is performed in it’s entirety, no extravagance spared, as the Lunar Eclipse unfolds.
Deepening the experience, The Underground Light Orchestra will add spectacular visuals in true tradition of 60’s/70’s Brit-Psych-Pop.
The event will be hosted by the best sounding venue in Austin, the historical Saxon Pub, mixed by the one and only Richard Vernoy.
The band is devoted to bringing the album to life, featuring members of the Deann Rene Band and The Damn Torpedoes. On guitar and David Gilmour vocals is Ty Hurless, renowned front-man of The Damn Torpedoes. Faithfully rendering lead guitar is Mike Nichols of The Union Jacks. Steel Guitar will be unleashed by the extraordinary Charlie Richards, hold on to your derby. Pouring out keyboards and Richard Wright vocals will be Ron D’Argenio of The Deann Rene Band, John Gaar Band, TexZep, and The Damn Torpedoes. Bass and Roger Waters vocals will be passionately performed by Kris Brown from The Deann Rene Band and wherever great music is made. The man on saxophone can only be and shall be Jack Payne. Vocalists Deann Rene and Sara Waldon will strike mercilessly on gospel harmonies. Presenting the show as a true surrogate of Arnold Layne, performing spoken word bits and bites, and picking up the surprise encore songs on acoustic guitar is everyone’s friend Andy Cowden.
This immersive musicale will be performed exclusively on significant lunar events throughout the year. Unveiling a new Austin tradition, it’s a rare event not to be missed.
