The brainchild of Matt Patterson (drummer for The Eggmen and Mock Lobster), a supergroup of Austin musicians has been assembled for a live performance of Paul McCartney & Wings’ “Band On The Run” album in its entirety!To bring the project to life, Matt recruited his bandmates from The Eggmen and yacht-rock tribute band Yacht Z: Heath Allyn, Chris Nine, and David Houston. Rounding out the group are guitarist/vocalist Jason Garcia of Jason & Brit; Jennifer Yoder of Fire Women – All Female Tribute To The Cult; and Jenny Hoyston of Erase Errata.This performance comes on the heels of the 50th anniversary of the Band On The Run album release. A few songs from each of the individual Beatles’ solo careers will be included.
