From the first few notes of “Love is Hell”, the opening track of debut album Kintsugi, Brandon Padier & Black Gold rip onto the scene as a new musical force to be reckoned with.
Taking cues from the greats, Black Gold imbue their unique Texan identity with sounds ranging from country and folk, to jam band and prog rock.

Led by Brandon Padier (guitar, vocals, songwriter), Black Gold creates an entirely new sound around the artist’s prior songs and albums, pulling and stretching them in live performances to expand the boundaries that “Americana” music will go to.
Formed in San Antonio by Padier “Cap’n”, Black Gold consists of longtime collaborator Cameron Condreay “Pocketman” on drums, Griffin Young “The Kid” on bass guitar and Jordan Stern “The Professor” on pedal steel and keys, with frequent appearances by Cooper Greenberg “Golden Boy” of Favorite Son on guitar and Isa Paillao “The Queen” on secondary vocals.
