Dave was also a player & composer/arranger in a number of other indie bands, notably Cole Degenova and the People’s Republic, whose style, swagger and neo-soul/R&B flavor remain a cherished part of his repertoire to this day.

After performing with myriad other name acts including Krysta Youngs, Zach Lockwood, Ryan Pinkston, and Big Party Orchestra, Dave moved back to Austin and began playing sideman with the likes of Tameca Jones, Will Taylor and Strings Attached, Emerald City, Downtown Fever, John Wolf, MC Overlord, Boombox, Bobby Bookout, Dahebegebees and many more.
