Dry Sky and Kyote are a musical group that brings together the rugged authenticity of American roots music with an experimental edge. Born from the crossroads of Tom Petty’s heartland rock, Neil Young’s raw, unfiltered storytelling, Pink Floyd’s atmospheric soundscapes, and My Morning Jacket’s expansive, genre-blending sensibilities, the band crafts a unique sonic experience that feels both timeless and refreshingly new.

Formed in Austin Texas, Dry Sky and Kyote consists of four seasoned musicians whose diverse backgrounds and shared passion for authentic music converge in a dynamic and powerful way. Lead vocalist and guitarist, Ryan Erwin, channels the spirit of the lone coyote with a voice that echoes both vulnerability and strength. Vocalist and lead guitarist Skylar Evans, weaves intricate melodies with his guitar adding layers of depth and texture to the band’s sound. The rhythm section, featuring drummer Ryan Parker and bassist Dakota Colby, drives the band with a groove that’s as tight as it is expansive, blending rock americana blues like vibes with a psychedelic twist.  The band’s ability to fuse the earnest storytelling of Americana with the grandeur of progressive rock makes each performance an unforgettable experience.
