Born and raised in South Austin, truth-telling, soul-punching vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Erica Michelle captivates audiences with her new sound, a modern twist on soul Americana & the blues. Her alto-rich voice with smokey, smooth undertones leaves listeners in their best state-of-mind and with all the feels. Erica picked up her first guitar at the age of 14 and started writing songs about anything and everything. She was obsessed with the idea of music. Erica Michelle has been an avid supporter of the Austin music scene since she was a teenager and regularly attends shows to support her fellow local artists. Her debut EP ‘Cry About It’ produced by Austin artist Ray Prim made waves in 2020 with her soul songwriting and catchy melodies. Songs like “Be There Soon” and “Dreams” are fan favorites and have had airplay on stations like Sun Radio and ACL radio. Erica Michelle is making her mark in the Austin music scene and is recording her first full-length album in 2023.
