Sweet harmonies. Sharp wit. Absolutely no filter.

Austin duo Folk Uke pairs the gorgeous harmonies of Cathy Guthrie and Amy Nelson—daughters of folk legend Arlo Guthrie and Texas icon Willie Nelson—with songs that are clever, irreverent, occasionally inappropriate and far prettier than the lyrics have any business being.

Armed with a guitar, a ukulele and a wonderfully twisted sense of humor, Folk Uke turns beautifully crafted folk music into something completely their own. Expect hilarious storytelling, unexpected lyrics and harmonies that remind you these two grew up surrounded by some of the greatest songwriters in American music.

Come for the family pedigree. Stay for the songs they probably wouldn’t play at the family reunion. Folk Uke, live at The Saxon Pub.
