Texas blues royalty is coming to The Saxon. Johnny Nicholas has spent a lifetime at the heart of American roots music, sharing stages and studios with legends while building a sound steeped in blues, boogie, country and Gulf Coast soul.

A former member of Austin’s legendary Asleep at the Wheel, Nicholas is a masterful songwriter, guitarist, pianist and storyteller whose live shows feel like a trip through the very best of Texas music history. Expect deep grooves, road-worn soul and musicianship that only comes from decades of living the music.

This is the real deal—Johnny Nicholas, live and up close at The Saxon Pub.
