Two master songwriters. Two nights. One stage. No setlist separating them—just songs, stories and whatever happens in the moment.

Grammy-nominated songwriter and acclaimed author Mary Gauthier joins celebrated Texas troubadour Sam Baker for a rare, intimate song swap at The Saxon Pub. Both are revered for transforming deeply human experiences into extraordinary songs—Gauthier with a catalog recorded by artists including Jimmy Buffett, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton and Boy George, and Baker with a body of work that has earned international acclaim for its poetic storytelling and hard-won sense of hope.

Over two special performances, Mary and Sam will trade songs and stories, respond to one another in real time, and take the audience inside the writing in a way you simply don’t get from a traditional concert.

This is what a listening room was made for.
