Nakia’s Birthday Bash Returns to Saxon Pub!

Join us on Friday, February 21st at 8 PM for the triumphant return of Nakia’s Annual Birthday Bash after a 5-year hiatus. Backed by his electrifying new band, Nakia & The Never Not Now, the soulful Austin icon will perform fan favorites spanning his 20+ year career, along with songs from his upcoming 80s synth-rock-inspired album, Signal.
Known for his commanding voice and vibrant presence, Nakia has shared stages with legends like Alejandro Escovedo, Sharon Jones, Willie Nelson, and The Muppets, and earned the title of “Local Legend” from Matthew McConaughey for his tireless advocacy for Austin’s music community. To that end, Nakia will be donation a portion of the proceeds from the show to local music non-profits, Austin Texas Musicians and the SIMS Foundation
