Nik Parr & The Selfless Lovers

Nik Parr is a throwback and he can’t help it. In a time of content creators, pop singers and DJs, he’s making rock n’ roll music like it’s 1969; playing the piano, singing, and wielding the saxophone throughout his live set.

As culture has shifted online, Nik and his band have hit the road, performing an astounding one hundred fifty live shows per year across the country, amassing a die hard following in the process. That’s a lot of stage time. And a lot of miles.

There is something timeless and tangible in this. The piano player with the rock n’ roll band hopping out of a van, jumping on stage and winning over bar-room crowds night after night. The kinetic energy of drums, thumping bass, guitar solos, all revolving around the piano and raw vocals.

Nik’s set is a wild mix of New Orleans late night party, Gospel tent revival, and Austin blues band, topped with an effortless rapport and charisma with audiences. Come to a live show and see him standing on a table, playing the sax with one hand and conducting his band with the other.
