Songwriters circle w/ HalleyAnna Finlay, Eley Buck Davis & Phil Hurley

Eley Buck Davis is an independent singer/songwriter from Beckville, Texas. Eley has released three EPs, “Ain’t The Same,” “Hills Lake Road,” and “Live at the Catalina.” He has put out two LPs, Panola, and his most recent album titled Pier and Beam. His song “Like it Hit Me First” from the live EP earned him honorable mention in both Folk Singer-Songwriter and Americana categories in the 2018 Unsigned Only international songwriting contest. His song “Grocery Bill” off the Pier and Beam album earned him outstanding achievement in songwriting for the 24th Annual Great American Song Contest. Eley’s influences include Chris Knight, Ben Nichols, John Moreland, Evan Felker, and many more. He has opened up for artists such as Gary P. Nunn, Bob Livingston, Max & Heather Stalling, The Wilder Blue, Memphis Kee, Two Tons Of Steel, and The Broken Spokes. Eley currently resides just outside of Austin and plays solo and full band shows all over Texas.
Phil Hurley has been playing in bands since he was eight years old. He moved
from his hometown of Potsdam, NY to Boston, MA in 1987 with his band Gigolo
Aunts. Gigolo Aunts had a major label deal with RCA and toured extensively in
the US and Europe with groups such as the Counting Crows, Cranberries,
Wallflowers, and The Lemonheads. They recorded music for films including:
That Thing You Do, The River Wild, Swimming With Sharks, The Buddy System, In
the Army Now, and the title track to Dumb and Dumber, “Where I Find My
Heaven
HalleyAnna is a singer-songwriter based out of Austin, Texas. She grew up singing
in church, honky-tonks, and dancehalls to develop her sound, a gumbo of alt.
country, folk, and Americana, influenced by artists such as Emmylou Harris, June
Carter, and Hank Williams.
