Starkitect returns to the Saxon Pub for an early show (6-7:30) with new songs and an all-star band featuring Chris Nine, Matt Patterson, Chepo Pena and Phil McJunkins. Join us for a group therapy session where we will laugh, cry, and rock the Saxon Pub to its core!

Richard Weiss has been making music and architecture in Austin for over 30 years. He has played 5 SXSW showcases, was an Austin Music Award’s Best Pop Band winner, fronts Austin’s premier Hedwig and the Angry Inch tribute band (The Sideways Grimace) and plays perfect albums live front-to-back (Van Halen, Radiohead, R.E.M., etc.…) with the band Recovering. Starkitect is his secret identity for original songs and stories, and he is joined by the greatest team of musicians that friendship can buy.

When he puts on his glasses, Weiss is the architect for Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, Kerbey Lane Cafe, the Collings Guitar Factory, the Comedy Mothership, the bathrooms at the Saxon Pub, and a multitude of projects that contribute to the fantastic fabric of our fair city.
