When you talk about great Texas songwriters, Walt Wilkins belongs in the conversation.

For more than three decades, Wilkins has built a career as a songwriter, singer, producer and troubadour, with 100+ of his songs recorded by other artists and a catalog that includes nine solo albums, four records with The Mighty Mystiqueros and collaborations spanning the Texas music world.

His songs have traveled far beyond the stages where he first played them, while Walt himself has carried Texas songwriting across the U.S. and Europe. Yet one of the constants in his career remains right here in Austin: The Saxon Pub, where his long-running Wednesday nights with The Mighty Mystiqueros have become part of the fabric of the room.

This is your chance to experience a songwriter’s songwriter exactly where he belongs—up close, in a listening room, with nothing between you and the songs.

Walt Wilkins live at The Saxon Pub — Texas songwriting at its finest.
